Evaluation of Educators Matter

Evaluating an initiative to address recruitment and retention challenges in the early learning and child care sector

I conducted an evaluation of the Educators Matter: Workforce Policy for Quality Early Learning and Child Care project led by Child Care Now. This project is working to advance collective knowledge and policy solutions to address the retention and recruitment crisis in the early learning and child care sector. The evaluation included key informant interviews with educators, advocates and policy experts to assess the project’s contributions to addressing the root causes of child care workforce challenges and identify ongoing strategies for advancing policy solutions to these challenges.
